The 6th Session of the 6th China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines and Health Products & 6th Session of the 9th Standing Council was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang on March 16, 2017. United Lab was present on the occasion as a standing council unit.

At the session, the Chamber commended the 80 outstanding member enterprises that won the eight prizes for API, preparation and Chinese patent medicine in the export/import of medicines and healthcare products in 2016. The United Laboratories International Holdings Limited was honored as one of the top 10 member enterprises of Chinese western API export. The company has received this honor for consecutive years, and that’s a hard-earned success. It keeps moving forward all the time and has managed to maintain a steady growth in an increasingly intensified competition while actively seeking to achieve industrial upgrade and transformation.

In 2016, China’s API export continued with the trend of “increased volume, reduced price”, with the export volume reaching a new height again, which was up to 8.2724 million tons, a YoY increase of 13.04%. In the year 2017 to come, with the international environment remaining unstable, there is no optimistic prediction for export of China’s medical products like bulk API. United Lab will seek constant improvement in its capabilities for international registration & certification, R&D and international marketing and adjust itself to the new normal and new trend.
