[Common name] Meropenem for Injection

[Ingredients] The product contains the major ingredient meropenem as well as the excipient- anhydrous sodium carbonate.

[Indication] It is indicated for infections inflicted on the adult and children caused by single or multiple bacteria sensitive to meropenem: pneumonia (including nosocomial pneumonia), urinary tract infection, gynecology infection (such as endometritis and pelvic inflammation), skin and soft tissue infection, meningitis, and septicaemia.

[Usage and Dosage] Usage: venous pushing injection time for meropenem shall be more than 5min, and intravenous dripping time more than 15～30min. During injection, Sterile Water for Injection (25ml of the product is contained in each 5ml) shall be utilized, with concentration approximately 50 mg/ml.. Dosage: for adult: the dosage and interval shall depend on the type of infection, severity and the condition of patient.
